Interestingly the 219 Zipper started as a
necked down wildcat of the 25-35
Winchester WCF until it was put in
production from 1937 to 1964 by
Winchester.
The 219 Improved Zipper is basically a
blown out 219 Zipper case with a much
steeper angle on the case to neck, from
13 degrees to 26 degrees more
powder and power.
This makes the 219 Improved Zipper a
Wildcat from an Obsolete Cartridge; due to
Obsolete Headstamp they are a little pricey.
I will try to get some made from 30-30
cartridges in the future. |
