The .270 Weatherby
was the first of the belted Weatherby cartridges, featuring the distinctive double-radius shoulder, introduced in 1944. The .257, .270. and 7mm. Weatherby magnums are all based on the .300 H&H case, blow out and shortened to 2.545". Current factory ammunition is loaded by Weatherby in weights from 90 to 150 grains, 90 grain mores out at 3,800 F.P.S., and the 150 grain produces over 3,500 Foot Pounds of Energy! Only New!
