In 1985 Sherwood International Export
Corp. of Northridge California (a large importer/exporter of arms &
ammunition) considered offering their
own line of ammunition.
Prototypes of several different calibers
where produced by both Prvi Partizan and Igman of Yugoslavia.
From some reason the production never
got off the ground, which means only a very few of the
prototypes with these
Head Stamps exist!
The Set of 7 - left to right:
8x57 (Live), .303 British (Live),
.357 Magnum (Live), .30-06 (Dummy),
30-06 (Live), .223, or 5.6x45mm (Dummy),
and .223 or 5.6x45mm (Live).
All Head Stamps say "SIEC" for Sherwood International Export Corp.; the
two
dummy cartridge 30-06 and 223 or 5.6x45mm have
an "LK-85" on the Head stamp.
We only have only a very few sets of 7! |
