Merwin, Hulbert & Company were producers of very fine firearms and ahead of their time in technology and machining. They only produced firearms from app. 1876 to 1891 and, due to a fire, no factory records are available. It is impossible to determine the actual number of precision Merwin & Hulbert firearms produced. They produced revolvers, rifles and carbines in .32, .38 and .44 calibers. They are very expense firearms today. The cartridges offered below are NOT .32 or .38 S&W, they are .32 and .38 Merwin & Hulbert. (Different from S&W) Ammunition was only produced until 1914, so this is a great find. The dark spots on the case are due to the factory lubrication and can be cleaned with paint thinner, if you wish to do so. Strict limit of one cartridge of each caliber per person. |
