| ~ The 6.17mm (.243") Lazzeroni Spitfire Cartridge was designed and introduced in 1997 as a totally new cartridge, not a wildcat from some other cartridge. With a Projectile Diameter of ..243" and a case 30 degree shoulder, this cartridge exceeded any factory cartridge in velocity and energy in 1997. With a 85 grain projectile it has a velocity of 3550 Feet per Second, and an energy level of over 2380 foot pounds. This is a custom loaded, inert cartridge, which will appear live.
