| This is a huge ( 8.5" by 11") 188 page book and the best reference book available on British grenades! This book deals with the service grenades of Britain, Australia and Canada from the first of the numbered series to the last, including the newer "L" series. There are sections dealing with grenade launchers, launching cartridges, fillings and, finally, markings. A listing in the back of the book gives all the manufacturers and markings that have been identified to date. Also included is a list of fillings in the grendes, launching and other components. It is a wonderful reference for collectors, historians, EOD personnel, police, or military personnel, and is filled with information, some that cannot be found anywhere else. Over 200 photos of regular and cutaway drawings and diagrams. |
