| ~ The 460 Short A-Square was introduced in 1974 with other A-Square Proprietary Cartridges. Designed by Colonel Arthur Alphin, by shortening the 460 Weatherby Cartridge. Even though the 460 Short A-Square is shorter then the 458 Winchester it provides better ballistics by sending a 500 Grain Monlithic Solid Projectile down the range at 2450 Feet per Second to produce 6,670 foot Pounds of Energy. |
