| ~ The 9mm Japanese revolver cartridge was used in the 1893 service revolver, so I would say that is close to the year it was introduced in Japan. It was produced in Japan until the end of World War II. There were a fairly large amount of revolvers brought back by G.I.s after the war. A few small ammunition companies made special production runs after the war for use in those pistols. Midway was one of those companies that is now out of business. No manufacturer, to my knowlegde is now making this cartridge. OBSOLETE FOR YEARS LIMIT ONE! |
