9mm Japanese Revolver
Military Cartridge Stock
The 9mm Japanese revolver cartridge was used in the 1893 service revolver, so I would
say that is close to the year it was introduced in Japan.
It was produced in Japan until the end of World War II.
There were a fairly large amount of revolvers brought back by G.I.s after the war.
A few small ammunition companies made special production runs after the war
for use in those pistols. No manufacturer, to my knowlegde is now making this cartridge.
