| The 8x56Rmm was developed to replace the older 8x50Rmm Austrian cartridge. The "Rimmed" 8x56Rmm was introduced in 1930 for the Solothurn machinegun, and also used in the Hungarian Model 35 Mannlicher bolt action rifle and Model 95 straight-pull bolt Mannlicher rifle. Please note! This is not the Rimless Mannlicher-Schoenauer Sporting Cartridge. Check out the HeadStamp w/Eagle Warbird over Swastika . |
