The 7.5mm Swiss Army Revolver was introduced in 1882 for the
Swiss Army and used only until 1903 by the Swiss Army.
The newest book "Cartridges of the World, 11Th. Edition"( New in 2006)
states the 7.5 Swiss Army Revolver cartridge is a current production, not
an obsolete cartridge, as the Fiocchi Ammunition Company of Italy still
produces the caliber.
Well, if they are still producing it, it is not being shipped to the U.S.A.,
as no wholesaler is selling it, and I can't find it, so I will have to say it is obsolete, at least here in the U.S.A. I'm sure there may be a few boxes of
left over stock out there somewhere, but it is very hard to find, for now. |
