The 45-60 Winchester Center Fire was introduced 1879 for the Winchester 1876 Centennial Model Rifle. It was produced to provide more energy levels in the rifle vs. the 44-40 and other cartridges. It was fairly short lived and discontinued in 1937. We only have a few specimens available, in Winchester WRA H/S, Remington " REM-UMC" Head Stamp, both with some stains and spots that you should be removed and one very scarce cartridge by United States Cartridge Co. with a U.S. Head Stamp. One UMC H/S, and One No H/S. - Limit One! Your Choice. |
