40-50 Sharps Straight
Remington, no Head Stamp
The 40-50 Sharps "Straight"  was introduced in 1879 as the smallest
of the Sharps cartridges. It was used in Sharps-Borchardt Hunter's Rifle,
Sharps-Borchardt Short-Range Rifle, the Winchester Single Short
Rifle, and Remington Rolling Block Rifle. I am not sure how long it has
been obsolete.  Farrington Primer. These  few cases are not prefect, they
have some spots etc. but are very good specimens of the caliber.
