.376 Steyr
The .376 Steyr was introduced in 2000
by a join effect with Hornady and
Steyr for Jeff Coopers "Scout Rifle".

The Scout Rifle is  a short-action,
short bolt-action rifle, equipped with
a fount mounted scope with low power
and long eye relief, like a pistol scope,
used for hunting dangerous game.

With projectile weights run from
225 to 300 grains, velocities up to
2750 feet per second and energy up
to 4,142 foot pounds per squire inch,
make this an excellent big game
cartridge.
