The 375 JDJ
was designed by J.D. Jones of  SSK Industries in 1978
as a Wildcat Cartridge,
formed from the 444 Marlin "Parent" Cartridge for the T/C Contender.A Wildcat Proprietary Cartridge, until this year, 2004, when T/C marketed this retail item, made by Hornady. Now it is a Non-Wildcat Proprietary.
