| ".360 B.P.E." Black Powder Express 2 &1/4" |

| The .360 B.P.E. , or Black Powder Express was introduced in 1873. The B.P.E. was replaced by "Nitro"(Smokeless powder)) for Black Powder Rifles in 1900 to 1902. So these B.P.E. versions with paper patched bullets are a rare item vs, the smokeless versions. The .360 were made in 2 &1/4", the more common 2& 7/16" and 2 & 3/4". These are 2&1/4" B.P.E. some spots that easily were removed on my specimen. |
