32 Extra Long Rim-Fire
The 32 Extra long Rim-fire was introduced in the mid 1870's according to old
ammunition catalogs, although some think it maybe in the mid.1860's.
The cartridge was chambered in  Ballard, Remington, Stevens and Wesson rifles.
The original cartridges were loaded with 20 grains of black powder and a 90 grain
lead projectile.
We are not sure when it was discontinued by most of the ammunition
makers of the time, many say by the mid to late 1930s.

Union Metallic Cartridge
Company.
Product was taken from an unopened
box, pictured. This early product was
loaded with Black-Powder.
A very hard to find, long, long,
obsolete item. Due to age, may have
a few spots, but should clear up as in
picture with a little paint-thinner.
