| The .303 British is probably the most successful cartridges of all time. It was introduced in 1887 as a black powder loaded cartridge and later in 1892 changed to the cordite powder which proved it to be a great smokerless powder round. It was used in World War II , and was re-placed by the 7.62x51mm NATO (.308) in 1957. It has been used all over the world in many battles and has earned its place in History. |
