Current Rifle Cartridges
.300 Winchester Magnum
The .300 Winchester magnum was introduced in 1963 for the Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle.
Since then the cartridges has past the test of time and now many rifle manufacturers all over the world off the
chambering in 300 Winchester Magnum.
The design is basically the .338 winchester magnum case reduced to except 30 caliber (.308") projectiles
and has a slightly longer case by about 12/100" then the .338 Winchester magnum.
A great long range 30 caliber cartridge for any North American large game.
