| ~ Project Salvo (1952-61) which involved Olin Mathieson (parent company to what we call Winchester and Western). These specimens have cases with an extended neck, which held 2 (96 grain) projectiles. ~ The different angles at the base of the projectiles aidded in separation, which is why the box reads “Controlled Dispersion." Another interesting fact is the use of a small powder charge between the bullets. These samples were loaded in May of 1956, 50 years ago. Limit One per Customer! |
