| The .244 H & H Magnum was introduced in 1955 by Holland and Holland for use in custom made guns, which is why it is a fairly rare cartridge today. It was advertised to push a 100 grain bullet to 3,500 Feet Per Second, not a bad velocity for a 100 grain projectile in 1955 ! |
